Malice

Malice is an ornate long sword and an example of superb craftsmanship. It is one of the rare Named Blades and has a personality and some level of intelligence and memory. The blade itself is crafted from a rare, iridescent metal that seems to shift in color from dark gray to bright blue depending on the angle of light and the mood of the sword or wielder. Its hilt is wrapped in supple, black leather taken from an exotic beast. Adorned with an intricate design along its length, Malice emanates an air of power and mystery.

Pair-bonded with Maelstrom.

Abilities:

Malice holds the remarkable ability to summon lightning from the heavens. When the wielder commands, the blade unleashes a dazzling display of electric currents that surge through the air and strike foes with overwhelming force. Magical energy crackles and dances along the length of the blade when lightning is called, creating an awe-inspiring spectacle that instills fear in the hearts of adversaries and those who come too close.

However, this awesome power comes with danger. Once lightning is summoned, it cannot be directed or controlled by the sword's wielder. The blue itself decides what or who will be targeted. Often Malice will summon lightning again and again until the blade itself is exhausted. Once unleashed, bolts lightning strike nearly indiscriminately, potentially affecting both friend and foe. This uncontrollable aspect of this summoning makes it crucial for the wielder to choose the timing and location of its use carefully.

Wielder: Tomas Bence. Tomas was able to take the swords from two brigands by the names of Bander and Pretty. These two had looted the swords from the barrow of Hanna Jardin and the swords rejected them, preferring to find someone who would use them in the service of the Vintelli.

Malice and Maelstrom, two Named Blades, become an uncompromising force when wielded together. With the ability to summon lightning and winds, they can create a devastating combination of elemental power. However, managing these uncontrollable forces, requiring a skilled and strategic use of power. Only the most daring and deserving wield these powerful blades to harness their might.
