The Zulwali continent is often viewed as being a desert continent, but this is only true of the southern third. The rest of the landmass supports thriving ecosystems of forests, plains (grasslands) and savannas, wetlands, as well as mountains. The various regions of Zulwali are in constant states of war which keeps the population numbers sustainable. Outsiders are always viewed as suspect.
