Lythara governs the nocturnal realm, influencing dreams and the ebb and flow of tides. She is associated with mystery and the ethereal beauty of the night. Mortals’ ability to draw on her energies for spells and healing wax and wane according to the greater moon’s cycles. Her symbol is that of the moon Lysara.
Her sister, Astryn, is the Goddess of the Lesser Moon (Astraea), and the more beautiful of the two. There is no jealousy between the two and their magics often intertwine.
