Evenile

The Forgotten God

Evenile is a figure known as the Forgotten God. In ancient times, he was once revered and worshiped alongside the other gods, but over the centuries, his name and significance have faded from memory, earning him the title of the Forgotten God.

Role and Domain:

The true nature of Evenile's domain has been lost to time, and no records of his original role exist. Legends and fragmentary texts suggest that he might have held dominion over forgotten knowledge, but most see this as a cruel and ironic joke to mock is few remaining followers. As his worship declined and memories of him were erased, the true extent of his influence remains a mystery.

Fading Influence:

Evenile's decline in worship and followers is attributed to a betrayal by the other Gods, a catastrophic event that resulted in the destruction of his once-glorious temples and the loss of his devoted followers. As a result, his presence in the pantheon gradually faded, and his name was no longer invoked in prayers or rituals.

Evenile’s Return:

Though largely forgotten, a small number of followers continue to venerate him. These few followers believe reviving the worship of the Forgotten God will bring about a time of profound change and rediscovered knowledge.

Duality of Being Forgotten:

Paradoxically, the fact that Evenile has been forgotten grants him freedom from the struggles and disputes of the other gods. With fewer worshipers and expectations, he remains distant from the conflicts that sometimes arise among the more prominent deities or their followers.

Symbols and Depictions:

Due to his nature, detailed depictions of Evenile do not exist. Some imagine him as a veiled figure, shrouded in mist and shadow, symbolizing his elusive nature and obscured identity, but no one knows.
