About: Rosie is a ten year old orphan who trades menial labor for a place to sleep and eat. She is a server girl and bar assistant. She wipes down tables, sweeps and mops floors, washes dishes, and takes on any task that ensures her worth to the owner of the Harpin’ Harpy, Marchan Stad.
Rosie is overly fond of the barmaids that work in the Harpin’ Harpy. She is particularly attached to Mara Riversong, but she loves the twins, Tally and Lorelei Nightshade, as well. There is mutual love and affection.
Rosie has never had a home, and her first memories are of living on the streets of Keth begging for food. She has no friends close to her own age. She was named by Marchan as a sort of cruel joke, since she came to the Harpy not even knowing her own name. She has no memory of her parents.
Marchan tolerates the girl’s presence and treats her as an investment in the future. He is selfishly protective of her and has made it clear, to any that have dared to inquire, that the girl is off-limits until she gets much older. Rosie is aware of the activities that occur in the brothel, but she does not judge. She does not plan to follow in Mara’s footsteps.
Rosie feels magic burgeoning within her veins, but has so far managed to keep this hidden from others. She knows Mara is a secret practitioner of magic, and Rosie intends to confide in her soon. She views Mara as a mother figure.
Rosie hates the Harpin' Harpy's taxidermy mascot and namesake. The eerie and disturbing sight of the taxidermy harpy serves as a reminder of the harsh reality of her surroundings.
Rosie sleeps on a cot in a supply room. Marchan has gifted her with a small charm that she wears on her wrist. It is meant to protect her from unwanted attention.
Description: Rosie has short cropped black hair and dark eyes. She seldom laughs or smiles. She is a pretty girl. She is only ten years old, but is already world-weary and jaded and it shows. Rosies has few outfits and her clothes are all worn and old. She refuses to allow any of the barmaids to buy her new clothing as she instinctively uses her unkempt appearance as a protective measure.
