About: Bantu Naran is the clan chief of the Vintelli. He oversees the council of elders and generally governs by way of majority vote, only voting himself in case of a tie, but he has, on rare occasion, overruled the council. Most recently when selecting his heir, rejecting the tradition of bloodlines in favor of the most competent. This has caused a rift between Bantu and his eldest son Wren.
Description: Bantu Naran is in his mid-sixties and has allowed himself to lose much of the imposing mass he'd once commanded as a warrior leader. Now he spends more time in debate than he does fighting.
